Just Another Manic Weekend (Oh, whoa...)
I added two new blogs to my sidebar. One is Matt Nichols' personal blog. The other one is one that he and Stephanie created for their wedding. Enjoy!
This weekend was exciting. I helped Mel G. move to Misti's house. Friday evening me, G, Rich and Chris went to Denny's to eat, and we saw this guy Marlon Brown, who Rich said played professional basketball. Anyway, he was CRAZY! His date comes in, and he hollers, "That's my baby's momma!" It was funny. Well, I told him my name was Amber and that I had gotten married in Vegas and had it annuled. (Hmmm...I should have told him my name was Britney.) The conversation went on from there.
Saturday G and I were cleaning under her couch when I said, "Uh, G, there's an eye under your couch..." It's true! There was this HUGE googly eye under her couch. I kept it, of course. I put it in my treasure box when I got home. Awwwwww....
Well, a whole bunch of people came to help her move. It was really cool. Afterwords we ate lunch, then some of the people went to play Ultimate Frisbee. I went with Mel G. and a contingent of guys to move her washer and dryer. The guys had the hardest time moving that thing. First, they couldn't get it out of the wall. Finally, Mr. Handy Phillip got it out.
Later that evening, Mel G., Chris and I watched Napoleon Dynamite. Funniest. Movie. EVER. I loved the scene where Napoleon was on stage and just starts dancing. I also loved the Happy Hands scene, where they made the sign for flower. (Now I know TWO signs!) The funny thing is, the dance scene reminded me of every high-school dance I had ever attended. (Now, the faster songs we would bust out and dance to. The slow songs we would pick a partner and dance awkwardly with them.) I love me some Pedro, though. I like his Ashton Kutcher wig.
